2023 Duke Red Blend

Lyndon Fog Cellars is a representation of us, where we live and the amazing quality of grapes found in Monterey County. The last piece of that puzzle is our red Doberman Pinscher, Duke, who has been with us every step of the way. Nearly all the decisions made, from winemaking, to the unique succulents on each label happened during walks with Duke. Without Duke and the daily walks Lyndon Fog Cellars could still only be our dream.  

As a result we crafted a reserve red blend and named it Dukes Red Blend. The wine is a blend of the Zabala Syrah and Grenache that balances the dark rich profile of the Syrah with wondering red fruit profile of the Grenache. After blending, the wine aged an additional 4 months our new french oak barrel, adding a nice oak layer.
